In the backdrop of accelerating natural & man-made disasters, the rapid shrinking of non-renewable resources – including the on going extinction of our genetic pool - and a population explosion, Educators are compelled to ask: What is worth learning?

Spandan is the school of the future, connecting young minds to each other and nature, dynamically transforming & being transformed, with an emerging consciousness that transcends barriers of borders / continents / cultures / language.

Set in a farm / forest habitat on the shoulder of the highest point of the Mahabaleshwar-Panchgani plateau, with a bewildering variety of biodiversity, Spandan beckons young visitors to stop awhile, gently drinking in ecological living, perhaps, to ride climate chaos, in the heart of a 500-acre forest.
